Free-roaming peacocks, including white and blue varieties, wander the site and often visit lodges. Falabella ponies and horses graze in adjacent fields, and two black swans live on the estate pond. Guests can stroll through the grounds of Calthwaite Hall, though the manor house itself remains private.
